It is so neat how peaceful it is around Jim's parents house. Monday morning we woke up and saw dear that came down into the front yard. Grandma says this happens all of the time. We thought it was so neat to sit there at the breakfast table and eat while we watched the dear in their front yard!
Then we went out on grandpas fishing boat. The kids loved the boat ride! It was so cute to see them grinning from ear to ear as they were getting splashed. They had no fear, no matter how fast the boat went. We all tried a little fishing, but Justin's line was the only one that was successful that day. He had little patience holding the pole, but he was happy to take all the credit when we reeled in the fish! He was so proud!! We made it a really big deal that he was only 4 yrs old and big enough to be the only one to catch a fish! They were so excited to show grandma the fish later and watch the cleaning (which is something I always make sure I miss).
