Logan had his 1st day in nursery on Sunday, and did well. It is so great to see him getting bigger and doing more and more things.
The funny thing is he isn't walking yet. He pretends to walk on his knees. And will walk along the furniture and walls on his tippy toes. We think he might have a problem with his muscle above his heal on one of his legs, because he doesn't like to flatten that foot. He can stand on one of his feet flat, but will never flatten his other one. He just uses his toes. We hope to get that corrected, so that he will start walking soon. He is getting way to big for me to still be carrying him everywhere.
He is starting to talk and mimic sounds really well though.
He says:
Mama
Daddy
nigh nigh (night, night)
dinky (stinky)
go
by, by
cookie
cracker
hello
nana (banana)
ook (book)
He also will copy many sounds you make, right after he hears them (kind of like a parrot). Including many animal sounds.
Logan also knows where his nose, ears, hands, and mouth are by pointing when we ask him.
He loves to clap his hands and wave hello and good bye or night, night.
He is really great at communicating what he wants by bringing them to me, or going over to it and crying till I come and get it for him if he can't get it himself.
He also gives great hugs (he even pats me on the back softly) and open mouth baby kisses!

He is one cute little boy! Good luck with his walking...you must have some MAJOR arm muscles! :)
He looks so much like Tyler in that picture! Emmy isn't walking either...kids are funny about doing things when they want!
