Yesterday was an amazing day of feeling Heavenly Fathers love for us.
Jim feels a bit inadequate, and overwhelmed,
but is extremely willing and determined to serve honorably.
We both have received confirmation that weaknesses will be made strong, to allow the great work to go forth. Heavenly Father will help us as we try our best. Even through the difficulty of Jim's new job, he will receive blessings that will allow all to be accomplished.
Jim is very much looking forward to working with these wonderful men, and growing closer to the Lord through this great service.

Wow, congratulations Jim and Brooke!
What a wonderful blessing for your family! It takes a great girl to support her guy in the bishopric. You guys are both awesome!
Oh my word! congrats Jim! You will be awesome..you are such a great guy! Also, I don't know if you knew that John is my second cousin and I adore him! You guys are going to be so great! CONGRATS!
He will do an amazing job! You are a wonderful family and I can't think of anyone better for the job! You will receive so many blessings from his service. We love you guys!!
Elliot is like a little boy again. He's just giddy to be able to work with Jim and John . . . and then not have to call another counselor again! (hopefully . . . but he'll serve as long as he's needed)
Your family is wonderful!
