Justin teaches FHE!

It was Justin's turn to teach Family Home Evening this week. I wanted to teach the kids about how making right choices gives us strength, so I asked Justin if he wanted to dress in the "Armor of God" for our lesson. He was so excited! He helped me make the armor and then we prepared "Satan's fiery darts". The darts said things like: don't read your scriptures, don't say your prayers, tell Dad a lie, be mean to your brother, etc. As part of the lesson, each person got to throw a dart (Popsicle stick) at Justin after he put on the corresponding piece of armor (shield, breast plate, helmet, etc). Ater the lesson Tyler wanted to try on the special armor too. We had so much fun that Justin has talked about that FHE lesson for three days now! Good Job Justin! And thanks to the Curtis's for joining in on our fun!

That's a great idea. Throwing stuff. I think we'll add that to our FHE from now on. Stella might actually pay attention.
